Deep Relaxation

Smiling Woman

Release Physical Tension

Let go of tight, painful restrictions to create space and freedom in the body.

Promote circulation, detoxification and energy flow to previously compressed and stagnant  tissues.

Enjoying Nature

Connect to your Breath

Breathe deeper, slower & more completely as you let go of stubborn and hard to access tension in your core, chest, back, neck and head.

Brunette Woman

Calm the Mind

When your body is relaxed, open and spacious and  your breath is deep, your mind automatically slows down to help you feel centered  during and after class.

Take some time for You!

We all need breaks. If you think you are too busy to make time for self-care - you probably need this work more than most!

If you've already tried a 45, 60 or 75 minute class, you know just how quickly time passes. That's why we are going to spend 2 hours on the Block, exploring, releasing and relaxing.

When you are done you will feel calmer, more relaxed, more free than you have in months, maybe even years!

It's the perfect time to care for you - just before December and a whole new set of priorities come your way!

Common Comments After Class

Resting

Gilly

After laying on the block for about three minutes I was hit with the most glorious sense of calm and sleepiness. Was hard to get through the rest of the session because I was so relaxed. I think I just let go of a crazy amount of anxiety, fear, sadness. Feels so good.

Morning Meditation

Derek

After my first class I felt calm and relaxed which helped my low back.  Now I find I sleep better and wake up less at night but the most surprising part is the meditation and mental clarity benefits!

Smiling Couple

Jen and Marty

We both slept really well after our first session and felt great after.

Resting

Sarah

I feel amazing! I had a better sleep last night and felt very relaxed before bed which doesn’t always happen.

Prior to finding out about Block Therapy in 2013 I was tense, tight and stressed. Most nights, as I prepared for sleep, my restless legs would kick in and keep me up for hours. I used to get so frustrated at the lost sleep, knowing I had to get up for work at 5AM.

This spiraled me into a cycle of more stress, more tension, more restlessness and less sleep the next night.

When I tried Block Therapy for the first time, 9 years ago, I was blown away by the amount of pressure and tension I felt in my belly. It was rock hard and I could sense my heartbeat pulsating in my head.

Needless to say I had some stress and tension to let go of! No wonder I felt frustrated all the time and my gut was always giving me grief.

Now, sleep comes easy, as does the ability to let go of stress and tension before it has a chance to build up and wreck havoc on my mind, my belly and my body.

After practicing Block Therapy for 1000's of hours over the past 9 years and teaching more than 120 students since 2021 I am excited to host the first ever Block Therapy Intensive right here in Fort McMurray!

And all you have to do is lay down and breathe! What could be easier?!
